The Second Asia-Pacific Conference on Women’s Mental Health
About
Hosted by HER Centre Australia, the Second APWMH Conference returns to Melbourne for another ground-breaking year of innovation and transformation. After the resounding success of our inaugural event in 2023, we’re back to redefine the future of women’s mental health under the theme “Boundless.”
Why Attend:
This year’s conference will delve deeper into the uniquely female mental health challenges across the lifespan. From early-life issues including trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder, to the profound impact of hormones during menopause and PMDD, we will bring together the expertise of mental health professionals with the invaluable perspectives of those who have lived through these challenges to uncover new insights and innovative solutions.
We invite clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals, advocates, community health workers, policymakers, and women with lived experience to join forces. Across two days of knowledge-sharing, innovation, personal journeys, and new interventions, we aim to pave the way for more effective treatment, support systems, and policies that address the diverse needs of women across the lifespan.
